The program includes Forty Five (45) credit hours which includes Nine (9) credit hours for core courses, Six (6) credit hours for selected courses and Thirty (30) credit hours for the dissertation

Language Requirement
Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:

i. A score of 5.5 for IELTS (Academic); 
or
ii. A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.

For International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in Bahasa Malaysia or Arabic Language:

i. A score of 5.0 for IELTS (Academic); 
or
ii. A score of 500 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.
 
Entry Requirement
1. A Bachelor of Islamic Education degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 (final year students with  
   CGPA 3.0 are included in this requirement)
         or 
2. A Bachelor of Islamic Studies with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or equivalent degree
        and
(i) Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a CGPA of 3.00
          or
(ii) A teaching qualification at least 1 year and recognised by the University
         or
(iii) Teaching experience with an institution recognised by the Senate
         or
(iv) A professional qualification from a recognised professional body
          or
(v) A qualification approved by the Senate from time to time
Intake Schedule

Semester I of the academic year commences in September only
Semester II commences in February
