Course Structure

Mixed-Mode

The program covers Forty Five (45) credit hours which include twelve (12) credit hours for core courses, three (3) credit hours for selected courses and thirty (30) credit hours for the dissertation.

Language Requirement

 Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:

  1. A score of 5.5 for IELTS (Academic);

    or

  2. A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.
Entry Requirement
1. A Bachelor of Education with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or its equivalent 
         or 
2. A Bachelor of Education degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or its equivalent degree
         or
3. A Bachelor’s degree 
        and
(i) Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a CGPA of 3.00
          or
(ii) A professional teaching qualification 
          or
(iii) Related teaching experience recognised by the Senate
         or
(iv) Work experience related to the field
         or
(v) A professional qualification from a recognised professional body
         or
(vi) A qualification approved by the Senate from time to time
Intake Schedule

Semester I of the academic year commences in September while
Semester II commences in February
