Visit by Australian High Commission Delegates to the Faculty of Education
On the 7th of April 2022, delegates from the Australian High Commission visited the Faculty of Education. The delegates were Ms Fiona Morris, Counsellor and Ms Azra Elia Zamri, Senior Policy Manager of Education & Research.
The Dean of Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zawawi Ismail, welcomed their visit to the CUBE. This was followed by a short introduction about the faculty by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Husaina Banu Kenayathulla, Deputy Dean (Research). The visit continued with a speech by Ms Fiona Morris, and discussions between both parties were held. Among others who were present for the visit were Deputy Deans, Administrative Manager, Heads of Departments, and Research Centre Chairs.
After the fruitful discussion, the delegates had a short tour of the faculty’s facilities such as the Learning Space and the Library. On behalf of the Faculty of Education, we would like to thank the International Relations Office (IRO) Universiti Malaya and the delegates from the Australian High Commission for making the visit possible. We hope that the connections built will bring out partnership between both parties.
