This programme will produce graduates who are dynamic, reflective and innovative and able to apply their pedagogical knowledge, educational theories and research to solve problems relevant to the field of education.

Language Requirement

Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:

i. A score of band 6 for IELTS (Academic); 
or
ii. A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.

Entry Requirement

1. A Bachelor of Education degree with a CGPA of not lower than 3.00 or equivalent in the field of TESL /TESOL / TEFL,   
               or 
2. A Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of not lower than 3.00 or equivalent in a non-language education related field; and

(i) Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a CGPA of 3.00 
        or
(ii) A  teaching qualification recognised by the University,  
        or
(iii) Teaching experience with an institution recognised by the Senate,  
       or
(iv) A professional qualification from a recognised professional body, 
        or
(v) Other qualifications approved by the Senate from time to time.
