Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:
i. A score of 5.5 for IELTS (Academic);
or
ii. A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.
1. A Bachelor of Education degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00
or
2. A Bachelor degree with Education with a CGPA of at least 3.00
3. A Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00
and
(i) Postgraduate Diploma in Education
or
(ii) A teaching qualification recognised by the University;
or
(iii) Teaching experience with an institution recognised by the Senate
or
(iv) Work experience in a related field
or
(v) A professional qualification from a recognised professional body
or
(vi) A qualification approved by the Senate from time to time
Semester I of the academic year commences in September while
Semester II commences in February
Mixed-Mode
This program covers Fifty (50) credit hours which includes Nine (9) credit hours for the Program Core Program (Required Field of Specialization), Six (6) credit hours for Elective Courses Specialized Course and Thirty Five (35) credit hours for dissertation.
