Master of Education (Values Education & Humanities)



This programme will produce excellent educators able to enhance practice and knowledge through teaching, research, consultation, publication and use this knowledge in applying ethics and best practices in a professional manner in education.

sLanguage Requirement

Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:

i. A score of 5.5 for IELTS (Academic); 
ii. A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.

sEntry Requirement

1. A Bachelor of Education degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or an equivalent degree 
2. A Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or equivalent degree
(i) Postgraduate Diploma in Education with a CGPA of 3.00
(ii) A teaching qualification recognised by the University
(iii) Teaching experience with an institution recognised by the Senate
(iv) A professional qualification from a recognised professional body
(v) A qualification approved by the Senate from time to time

fIntake Schedule

Semester I of the academic year commences in September only
Semester II commences in February

The program includes Forty Five (45) credit hours which includes Nine (9) credit hours for core courses, Six (6) credit hours for selected courses and Thirty (30) credit hours for the dissertation
