Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:
i. A score of 5.5 for IELTS (Academic);
or
ii. A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.
1. A Bachelor of Education degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or an equivalent degree
or
2. A Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00
and
(i) Post graduate Diploma in Education with a CGPA of 3.00
or
(ii) A teaching qualification recognised by the University;
or
(iii) Teaching experience with an institution recognised by Senate
or
(iv) A professional qualification from a recognised professional body
or
(v) A qualification approved by the Senate from time to time
Semester I of the academic year commences in September while
Semester II commences in February
Mixed-mode
The program includes Forty Five (45) credit hours which includes Nine (9) credit hours for core courses, Six (6) credit hours for selected courses and Thirty (30) credit hours for the dissertation
